��%BD��%BD%90%BE Meet Cashew 'Cash' ��%BD��%BD%A4Z Meet Cashew, affectionately known as Cash! Cash's story is one of those that reminds us why rescue matters so much. Cash was dumped and left to fend for himself, and when he first came into rescue, he was absolutely terrified. He was so scared and unsure of the people around him that he could come across as almost aggressive. It wasn't because he was a bad dog. He was frightened, overwhelmed, and trying to protect himself. It took Cash a couple of weeks to realize that he was safe. Slowly, with patience, consistency, and a whole lot of love, he began to let his guard down. And once he did��%BD'��%BD| we discovered the sweetest boy. ��%BD����%BD��%BD��%BD%A4Z The dog who once hid behind fear is now a total lap dog who loves being close to his people. He has shown us just how much a dog can change when someone finally gives them the time and safety they desperately needed. Cash is also doing wonderfully with his training! He is working hard on his basic behaviors and manners and making great progress with leash training and crate training. He is learning how to be a confident, well-mannered companion and is proving every day that he is ready for his next chapter. ��%BD��%BD��%BD��%BD Cash is currently working on: ��%BD��%BD%90%BE Basic behaviors & manners ��%BD��%BD%90%BE Leash training ��%BD��%BD%90%BE Crate training ��%BD��%BD%90%BE Building confidence ��%BD��%BD%90%BE Learning household routines Cash will need a family who understands that trust is something that may need to be earned, especially in the beginning. His new family should be patient, consistent, and willing to continue the positive training he has started in rescue. But once Cash trusts you, you get the sweetest little shadow and professional cuddle bug in return. ��%BD��%BD%A4Z He went from a terrified dog who didn't know whether he could trust anyone to a happy boy who wants nothing more than to curl up in your lap.
