About Sissy

Sissy came to us from a hoarding situation where she was kept in a 12 x 12 ft pen with 50 other dogs! She had not been handled by humans hardly at all and definitely never socialized. That being the case, she is shy (but never any aggression) and will need a patient family. She has made good progress in her foster home and will allow pets and loves from her foster mom now. It definitely helps her gain confidence if she has another small breed dog to follow around and learn the routines of the house and that these humans can be trusted. She is not quite ready for kids unless they are older, dog-knowledgeable kids who can be patient with her. She is only a couple years old, but is now spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Message us if you have a quiet home with a big heart to love this girl til she can return that love.
