After spending the last few months in PA, Suki is finally realizing she doesn't have to spend her days worrying about where her next meal will come from or whether she'll have a safe place to sleep. Now she gets to focus on the important things - like finding her forever family, deciding who will give the best belly rubs, and wondering why they haven't applied yet. Suki checks off so many boxes: Crate trained Potty trained LOVES people, you f and old The perfect mix of playful energy and cuddle time (without the puppy nonsense!) Cats are unknown Suki is pretty close to perfect, but she knows she has a few things she's still working on. Life on the streets taught her that food and toys weren't always guaranteed, so she can be a little protective of her treasures. She's learning that she's safe now, that she is loved, and that she doesn't have to worry about someone taking things away from her. Suki will be starting professional training to help her become the very best version of herself and prepare her for her forever home. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter.
