Jack is an Anatolian Shepherd mix (mostly, but also Great Pyrenees/Akbash) dog looking for a new farm. His mom had 8 pups in all, but we can't keep all of them. He lives with 1 of his brothers, and 3 more of his brothers are also looking for a new farm home. They are now about 1yr 9mo old. We are in far north central Texas. These are not house dogs, but used to living outside. They have only had exposure to goats so far. Two of them have been neutered so far, with a third scheduled soon. Jack will be neutered and brought up to date on vaccinations if he can find a home. He has issues around resource guarding. He is separated from his brother during feeding time, but if a wild animal like a rabbit gets in their pen, his brother will usually catch it, guard it from Jack, and start a fight with him if Jack tries to take it. He interacts very well with us on a twice daily basis. He also does well with our teenagers and farm sitters, but we do not know about young children.
