Beautiful Carmella has some behavioral needs, and she's available for adoption or through a foster-to-adopt arrangement. Good with dogs? Carmella will need a slow introduction to other dogs. Good with cats? No Good with kids? Not Tested in foster care. Based on her behavior with meeting new people we would recommend she go to a kid free home. Energy level: High. Carmella is a driven Border Collie with a strong need for mental stimulation. She would thrive in a home where she has a job to do-bonus points if her adopter is interested in helping her learn how to herd! She is very intelligent and completed an official herding dog training program. With her high energy and working-dog instincts, Carmella would love nothing more than a purpose-filled life where she can stay active and engaged. Animal Characteristics: Carmella is a beautiful, sensitive soul searching for someone special to help her shine. This shy girl hasn't had the easiest start, and she's still learning to trust the world around her. When meeting new people, Carmella can be fearful- but with patience, structure, and love, she begins to open up.
