At only 42 lbs, she's a compact Shepherd mix with a unique look, lots of curiosity, and plenty of charm. Heiley is super smart and learns quickly. She is house-trained, moderately active, walks well on a leash, and is comfortable around cars and everyday noise. She would make a great walking or hiking companion. She is also a very loving girl who will become deeply attached to her family. Heiley may be a little shy in a new place or around new people, so give her a day or two to settle in. Once she feels comfortable, you'll see just how loyal, funny, and affectionate she really is. Heiley gets along very well with other dogs and loves to run and play, so a home with another playful dog could be a great fit. She has also spent time with a 10-year-old child and did very well. Heiley is looking for a family who will give her a little time at the beginning and then enjoy everything she has to offer: a smart, sweet, playful companion who will happily become part of your everyday life.
