Ruger Needs a Foster or Adopter to Secure His Ride to Wisconsin Ruger is currently in a kill shelter in Alabama and needs a FOSTER or ADOPTER to secure his spot on transport to Cedarburg, WI with Mutt Life Dog Rescue. His transport date is still TBD, but we are hoping to bring him to Wisconsin once he has a committed home waiting for him. Meet Ruger Ruger is a 3-year-old German Shepherd mix and an absolute gentle giant. Sweet, docile, and just a little goofy, Ruger is the kind of dog who seems to love everyone he meets. Ruger is wonderful with dogs of all sizes and is very gentle with children. He is smart, playful, affectionate, and loves being around people. When tested with cats, Ruger was uninterested in them, making him a potentially great fit for a variety of homes. Ruger has a calm, easygoing personality but still enjoys playtime and spending time with his people. His sweet and loving nature makes him an especially lovable guy who would make a wonderful companion.
