Yappy Needs a Foster or Adopter to Secure His Ride to Wisconsin Yappy is currently in a shelter and needs a FOSTER or ADOPTER to secure his spot on transport to Cedarburg, WI with Mutt Life Dog Rescue. His transport date is still TBD, but we are hoping to bring him to Wisconsin in September if he has a committed home waiting for him. Meet Yappy Yappy is a young Retriever/Bull Terrier mix (best guess) who was born on November 28, 2025. His mom was a brown hunting dog, while his dad is unknown, so Yappy is likely a fun mix of several different breeds. Our best guess is retriever/bull terrier mix. He has spent much of his young life in the shelter and is ready to experience everything that comes with having a family of his own. Yappy is a happy, outgoing boy who loves people and is always ready to make a new friend. He is playful, well-socialized, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He is also great with children. When Yappy recently met a child around 1.5 years old, he was incredibly gentle and sweet. Yappy and his brother Nolen have grown up together and love spending time with each other, but they are not bonded and can be adopted separately. Yappy would love a home where he can stay active, play, learn, and then settle in with his people for some well-deserved attention and affection. Yappy is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and is ready to find his family! He currently weighs approximately 40 pounds. He is ready for his next chapter and just needs someone willing to give him that chance.
