He needs a FOSTER or ADOPTER to secure his spot on transport to Cedarburg, WI with Mutt Life Dog Rescue. His transport date is still TBD, but we are hoping to bring him to Wisconsin once he has a committed home waiting for him. Meet Smokey Smokey is a 3-year-old Retriever mix (best guess) who weighs around 45 pounds. This happy, playful boy was found as a stray, but he has quickly shown everyone that he is a sweet, affectionate dog who loves people and is always ready for some fun. Smokey loves all people and absolutely lives for playtime. He is wonderful with children and gets along great with both dogs and cats. He is gentle, affectionate, and loves being around his people. Smokey is leash trained and housetrained, making him a great candidate for a family looking for a dog who is ready to settle into a home. He also enjoys car rides and would love to tag along on adventures with his family. One of Smokey's favorite things is playing in the kiddie pool. He loves splashing around and having a good time, and his playful personality is sure to keep his future family entertained.
