It breaks our hearts to write this, but we are looking for the right new home for our dog, Tito (5). He is a very good and loving dog overall, but he has nipped at our two-year-old twice when food was involved. With young children in our home, we can't safely risk it happening again. Tito would do best in an adult-only home with someone experienced with dogs and food/resource guarding. Outside of these incidents around food, he has been a wonderful dog. He also has ongoing skin issues that we have tried to identify and treat but haven't been able to fully resolve, so his new family will need to be willing to continue working with a veterinarian. We love Tito and want to make sure he goes to a safe, patient, and responsible home that is truly the right fit-not simply the first person who responds. We will be asking questions. Please message us if you're seriously interested or know of a reputable rescue that may be able to help.
