About Lilac

Lilac is an 8-year-old, 68-pound sweetheart with a goofy personality, a big heart, and an even bigger love for her daily walks. She may be mostly American Staffordshire Terrier according to her DNA test, but spend a little time with her and you'll quickly see that she acts like a bulldog through and through. Lilac is sweet, loving, funny, and an all-around wonderful companion. She loves being with her people, enjoys car rides, and is always ready to see where the day takes her. She is also a total foodie, so keeping her active is important to help maintain a healthy weight. Walking is one of Lilac's favorite things, and we are looking for an adopter who can continue that routine. During the hot summer months, she enjoys an early morning walk before the temperatures climb. During the rest of the year, two walks a day are ideal for keeping her happy, active, and at a healthy weight. If you enjoy getting outside for a stroll, Lilac will happily be your walking buddy. Lilac can do well with other friendly, submissive dogs and would be happiest with canine companions who respect her space and easygoing personality. She is just as capable of being a wonderful companion to her humans and loves being included in everyday life. Lilac has been fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, DNA tested, and allergy tested. She does have allergies, but they can be successfully managed through her diet. Her adopter will need to continue paying attention to what she eats, but once you know what works for her, it becomes part of her normal routine. At 8 years old, Lilac still has plenty of life, personality, and adventures ahead of her. She is looking for someone who wants a loyal companion, a walking partner, a car-ride copilot, and a goofy girl who will keep them smiling. Lilac isn't looking for a complicated life.
