About Mac

If you're looking for a big, goofy, lovable best friend, Mac might just be your guy! Mac is a 5-year-old, 90-pound GSP/Lab mix and the definition of a happy, playful boy with a giant heart. He loves playing ball, tug-of-war, chewing on his favorite toys, hanging out with his people, and late dinners with ice-cold water straight from the fridge. He loves being close to his humans, but he also knows how to settle down for some quality blanket time when playtime is over. He's great with people and children and does well with other dogs. Mac is VERY playful, though, and sometimes his enthusiasm gets the best of him. He may need a dog friend who appreciates his energy. He's a big goofy guy who just really, really wants everyone to play with him! Mac is not good with cats, so a feline-free home is a must. He is house-trained and crate-trained. A fenced yard isn't absolutely required, but Mac would certainly LOVE one. More than anything, he needs a family who will give him plenty of exercise, playtime, companionship, and then let this big boy curl up with his favorite blanket.
