About Garrick

Meet Garrick, a 10+years senior Poogle - otherwise known as a Poodle and Beagle, weighing in at 22 lbs. and one of the gentlest personalities you could ever hope to meet. Garrick's journey to rescue was a hard road. He was found stuck in a window well, suffering from a hernia, a testicular mass/tumor, and skin infection - and he was underweight, all caused by obvious neglect. Garrick underwent successful surgery for the hernia and testicular mass removal and recently had a dental procedure, losing only 2 teeth! Despite everything, Garrick has remained incredibly sweet, calm, and trusting with people. He truly just wants to be loved. Garrick is happiest when quietly hanging out near his humans and feeling secure. He is fostering with a dog family and gets along with both males and females. Despite the activity surrounding him with his younger and more active housemates, he would love a calm, quiet household where his humans stay close to home. Garrick would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal, low-keyed dog who simply wants a peaceful life, a slow stroll with his human now and then, and a soft place to land.
