Yes, Odell befriended the resident dog in his foster home right away. When out walking on leash, he will whine when he sees other dogs. He loves other active, playful doggie friends. Good with cats? Not Tested. Odell saw one cat from a distance and did not react. Good with kids? Not Tested other than seeing some kids without a reaction. He is still in a puppy mouthy phase, is working on training to manage his friendly excitement, and will do better with older kids. Energy level: Medium. He likes to lounge in his home but also loves a walk or play session in the backyard. He really loves chewy toys. Animal Characteristics: Odell is a handsome sweetheart with big puppy energy who loves people and other active doggie friends! He is very excited when he sees people he loves, will greet you with a plush toy in his mouth, and enjoys interaction, petting and the occasional yummy treat! Odell is working on his calm manners, busy learning more commands, and fully potty trained. He rarely barks unless someone is near the door to his home. He is making progress with overcoming fear of riding in a car and will need a patient, loving adopter who can help him feel secure. He is crate trained, but does not need to be crated when he's left alone, since he just snoozes and relaxes. Like all young dogs, Odell will benefit from continued training and socialization.
