About Ziggy

Meet Ziggy If looking for a wonderfully easy-going companion, look no further than Ziggy! We rescued Ziggy from a high kill shelter. Since arriving he's been such a joy. Ziggy is a three-year-old American bulldog/Staffordshire mix and a total LOVEBUG. While Ziggy looks like the star linebacker of the dog park (67 lbs.), all he really likes to do is stand there while you scratch his rump (feels so good), stroll and sniff with his people on his walks (he is exceptionally easy on a leash), or lay in the sun and watch the world go by. Ziggy is not in a hurry, and he has no bones to pick with anyone or anything. Ziggy is all love and charm. Ziggy enjoys being with people and he does well with other dogs. He is such a pleasure to be around with his happy go lucky demeanor. Ziggy travels well. He's up for an adventure. He loves pets and scratches. He is happy to be alive and every day he shows us how perfect he is. He is low energy and quiet. He will fit most perfectly into most any home. His greatest joy in life will be to keep you company. Ziggy will need a containment fenced yard to keep him safe. This handsome boy is a gem. All adopters must complete an approval process which involves a reference check with current/recent vet and a brief home visit if located in the immediate area. We do permit out-of-state adoptions. Adopters MUST come to the shelter to transport their new family member home. We do not ship, nor do we transport them to their new homes.
