About Nell

Meet Nell! Nell is a smart, sweet, energetic girl with a big personality and plenty of puppy charm. She's very Shepherd-like-she's talkative, active, curious, and always ready to be involved in whatever you're doing. Nell can be a little unsure when faced with new things, and that uncertainty may come out as barking or some leash reactivity. With patience, confidence-building, and a little guidance from her person, she's learning that the world isn't so scary. She's incredibly smart and catches on quickly when given clear direction. So far, Nell has been dog-friendly, she did good with cats during her cat test at the shelter but at her current Foster house, she is wanting to chase her cats. She still has some puppy behaviors to work on, but she's eager to learn and responds well to correction and structure. She would thrive with someone who enjoys training, will give her appropriate outlets for her energy, and is willing to help her build confidence through new experiences. Nell isn't looking for a perfect home-she's looking for a committed person who will help her become the amazing dog she's capable of being. She's around 4-6 months old and weighs about 35 lbs. A few things about her: ��%BD��%BDs��%BD She loves car rides - she's a great little co-pilot. ��%BD��%BD�� She loves being outside - walks, playing and trips to the dog park are some of her favorite things. ��%BD��%BD��%BD%A4 She's crate trained - she does great in her crate at night and while I'm away. ��%BD�%A4%A0 She's a smart girl - she's working on leash training and her basic commands and is picking things up quickly. She's definitely an active puppy, so she'll do best with someone who has the time and patience to keep her busy and continue working with her.
