About Shasta

Adoption Fee: $400
Australian Shepherd / German Shepherd
Age: Young Puppy
Sex: Female

This beautiful face belongs to Shasta. Her mom is an Australian Shepherd mix and dad may have been a German Shepherd. Shasta was born in April, 2026. We think he will be between 35-50 pounds when she is done growing. Shasta is a love. She enjoys people and likes to be in the mix of whatever you are doing. With new people, we think she says 'hello friend! love me!' She is definitely a best friend kind of dog. Because she is a puppy and can jump up, we prefer that her new home doesn't have any toddlers that she could knock over and give lots of kisses by accident. Shasta is making great progress in house training and will just need a little reinforcement in her new home. Shasta is good with other dogs and likes to play. If a dog is larger and more rambunctious, she will sometimes exit to give herself a break. She would be fine as an only or with another playful dog who isn't too rambunctious. She also seems ok with cats. She is curious about the cats in her foster home and would need a polite introduction to cats in a new home. Shasta will be a fun adventure buddy. She is learning all about the leash and is good in the car. She also is starting to get into toys. Shasta is a snuggler, everyone that meets her thinks she is the cutest thing. Some people say her pretty face and soft eyes remind them of the heroines in Miyazaki movies. Shasta will curl up next to you, lay on her back, and give you this look'|.then reach her little paw out and if you put your finger on her paw pads she sort of curls her toes like you're holding hands. She loves snuggles and love. As her ears stand up more, she is also getting more and more of a foxy look. Shasta is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. She is located in Southern CA, and is ready to meet adopters who are able to come here to meet and adopt. A home visit and vet reference are required.
