About Tahoe

This handsome gent is Tahoe. His mom is an Australian Shepherd mix and dad may have been a German Shepherd. Tahoe was born in April, 2026. We think he will be between 40-60 pounds when he is done growing. Tahoe is a love. He enjoys people and likes to be in the mix of whatever you are doing. He is definitely a best friend kind of dog. Because he is a puppy and can jump up, we prefer that his new home doesn't have any toddlers that he could knock over by accident. Tahoe is starting obedience and knows sit. He is making great progress in house training and will just need a little reinforcement in his new home. Tahoe is wonderful with other dogs and lives with a handful of dogs currently. He does enjoy playing. As for cats, there are cats in his foster home. He is curious so could be okay with a dog savvy cat in his new home if given a proper introduction. Tahoe is already learning how to walk politely on leash. He is also good as a passenger in the car. Tahoe does fetch a bit and hasn't figured out the 'bring it back' part of the game yet. Tahoe is a snuggler. He would like to be a lap puppy. He has gentle, big guy vibes. He has been to his foster mom's office and politely chills next to the desk. He loved when he got to sit on the couch with a coworker and get cuddles. This boy is as sweet as he is handsome. Tahoe is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. He is located in Southern CA, and is ready to meet adopters who are able to come here to meet and adopt. A home visit and vet reference are required.
