Wilson is a beautiful Lab-Red Heeler with a bit of Beagle (?) mixed in. Born 3/25/2026, we adopted him from a local shelter when he was 11 weeks old. As of 8/15, he weighs 25 lbs and is expected to reach 40 lbs as an adult. We love this dog and have bonded with him, but he's very active and not well suited for condo living. He's house trained and crate trained and has very good mealtime manners. His leash training is progressing, he's well socialized and wags his tail vigorously when he sees other dogs during neighborhood walks. He's also very eager to please and loves to play fetch. Wilson is a happy, intelligent and very active little guy who makes us laugh out loud everyday. Unfortunately, we can't provide the mental stimulation and exercise he requires. The thought of rehoming him breaks our hearts, but he needs his own outdoor space where he can run and play to his heart's content. We're looking for a kind and loving family to give this precious boy the active, carefree life he deserves. Note: Not sure how Wilson is around children, but he's fine with adults. He does play hard and he gets nippy at times (he's a cattle dog, after all), so he may not be well suited for homes with small children.
