Niko the #BelgianMalinois has faired longer at the shelter than any Malinois arriving on 7/15/26 after being seized and having to stay in hiding for several weeks for an owner that never arrived. Niko is suffering severe kennel stress at the shelter, much like any working breed trapped in a box :( Niko needs rescue or adoption as soon as possible, with placement no later than Friday 8/28/26 due to concerns for quality of life and potential for increased self harm in kennel.
