About Roxy

Roxy is a beautiful, five-year-old, 51-pound, blue pit bull terrier looking for a loving guardian. Adopted from an El Paso, Texas, shelter four years ago, she came to live in Chicagoland with her family. Unfortunately, her family has gone through some tough times and can't keep their dog. She is a loyal and loving dog who gets along with other dogs, cats and people of all ages. Roxy is housebroken and crate-trained, and loves to cuddle with everyone. And, even though she's good with all dogs one on one, dog parks are a bit overwhelming. Roxy is very healthy, spayed, up-to-date on rabies, distemper, leptospirosis, and bordetella vaccines, and micro-chipped.
