About Artie

Artie is not just adorable but truly one of the sweetest pups in our Rescue group! He's just over 1 year old and fully grown at 25 pounds. We think he's a Feist and a Chi mix although his personality is much more laid back and quiet than either of those breeds. He loves to give and receive love and shows kindness to everyone he meets. He is living with a great Foster family on Long Island (Great Neck) and they share that he's great with adults and wonderful with children too. He loves to play with other dogs and is cool with kitties too. He can be a little shy when he first meets you but warms up quickly and then wants all the love you can give him. If you have some good treats...he'll be your friend forever! We can send you his video of him with his Foster family you'll see how sweet he is and how much he loves to get love :) We think Artie will thrive in a suburban home with a fenced in yard because he loves to sunbathe in the backyard and play with other pups. He'd also LOVE a friendly and nice doggie sibling to play with and give him confidence for life's new adventures. He'd be fine as a solo pup too as long as he gets love and affection from his family. Artie is healthy, up to date on all his vaccinations and so ready for his forever home.
