About Rose--#SOS-HELP!!!

The shelter is often FULL, meaning it then has to euthanize perfectly good doggies due to lack of space!!! Which dogs are chosen is a crapshoot, but certain breeds, larger dogs, which Rose' is one, are at higher risk! She arrived at the shelter on July 23rd as a lost dog, no one has come to claim her, sadly. Estimated age is about 1 1/2 years old. Is listed as a Cane Corso by the shelter, but Rescue Me does not have such a listing, therefore listed as a Mastiff. Rose is described by the volunteers at the shelter as being super smart, super snuggly, knows some commands, and loves working for treats. She has a good leash test with another dog at the shelter. Has what is called, cherry eye, which is fixable with surgery. If adopted through Chicago Animal Care & Control/CACC, a wonderful donor will cover the cost of the surgery.
