Chicago Animal Care & Control is FULL, meaning perfectly good doggies are being euthanized due to lack of space!!! Which dogs are chosen is a crapshoot. Canberra only arrived at the shelter on August 10th, therefore limited public info., there is a video, though (can send upon request). In the video he was very friendly with the volunteer, loved the treats, does not appear jumpy as when the volunteer put the treat overhead to try to get him to sit, did not sit, but did not jump as some dogs tend to do. Person who found him and brought him in, described him as a 'lapdog', so friendly. PLEASE email to go meet him at the shelter, seems like a very good boy! Can also be fostered through a rescue org, besides adopted.
