George is a purebred Bengal, the grandson of a showcat who won championships in TICA. HIs coat is short and peltlike and his colors turn a deep wine color when he is in the sunlight. He is 4 years old. I am moving and cannot take him. He is extremely high energy. I will rehome him with someone who has had a bengal before and understands their energy level and their need for attention. He is well mannered, healthy, and no litter box issues. He loves playing catch and playing with plastic rings. The owner must be home with him and keep him indoors. He would not survive outdoors. He is chipped. As a kitten he would sell for close to 10k. He is a unique and special animal. His coat feels like velour. So difficult to describe but amazing to stroke. he will sit in your lap but you have to play with him. He can mistaken your hand for something he can bunny kick and his claws and teeth can be sharp, so you have to know how to be gentle with him. If you are aggressive, he can be aggressive. That is true of most bengals or similar breeds. They can be easily excited, but they are incredibly loyal. In short, he is a sweetheart but you have to treat him well. I want to rehome him with someone who is home during the day because he is lonely. I am looking for someone who does not have other pets. He has never been around other animals so I don't think that would work. I have beautiful cat towers that I would send with him.
