Scooter is a delightful dog who is estimated to be 7 months old. This energetic pup is loving and playful, always eager to engage with his family and explore his surroundings. He weighs around 40 pounds, making him a perfect medium-sized companion. With a cheerful disposition, Scooter is known for his enthusiastic wagging tail that reflects his zest for life. He thrives on human interaction and enjoys being petted, often seeking out one-on-one time to forge strong bonds with his caregivers. His playful nature is evident in his love for treats and toys, which he approaches with enthusiasm and curiosity. While Scooter seems to have some foundational training, he will benefit from additional guidance to become fully house-trained. He is currently learning basic commands such as 'sit' and 'down,' but he has not yet perfected these skills. Please note that we are not a no-kill shelter, and we must make tough decisions regarding animals who are ill or aggressive. �%A0**Adoption Fees: ** - $165 for dogs under 5 years old - $100 for dogs over 5 years old - $200 for cell dogs. Your adoption fee covers vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella), microchipping, heartworm and Lyme testing, rabies vaccination, spay/neuter, and a dog license. All dogs must be spayed or neutered before leaving the shelter; if this hasn't been done, we'll schedule an appointment for you. **Payment: ** We accept cash only-no checks, debit, or credit cards, please.
