Dawtee is an outgoing, adventurous, technogeek we first encountered perusing circuit boards on the small electronics aisle of a Micro Center in Houston. Staff members, noticing that she'd clearly left her wallet at home and fearing for their inventory, escorted her out, where we found her tied to the bike rack outside on a night it was going to freeze. We took her home and got her medical needs taken care of (she'd been out on her own without that wallet or her lunch box for some time, it seems) and intruduced her to the finer things- warm beds, toys, and more toys. Dawtee is a very loving dog with a lot of energy and an endless well of affection. She is great with people and cats and has had basic leash, crate, and obedience training. Dawtee would be best suited to a house where she can reign as the only dog- she wants a lot of attention and is jealous of her toys. She's a perfect angel in her crate, but if left alone in the backyard, she's inclined to engage in small digging projects at the fence line in pursuit of entertainment or snuggles. She dearly loves to play lap dog and loves spending time in proximity to anyone and everyone, and she detours on her way to her crate before bed each night to grab a toy to cuddle with.
