About Denim

Rehoming 5-Year-Old American Staffordshire Terrier We are looking for a loving home for our dog Denim. This has been a difficult decision, and our priority is finding the right long-term fit for him. Breed: 100% American Staffordshire Terrier Age: 5 years Color: Grey and white Indoor living Neutered Crate trained Personality: He loves people, loves going for walks and exploring, enjoys sunbathing, and is very affectionate-he truly thinks he's a lap dog. He likes to play (tug of war is his favorite) but is even more of a cuddler. Behavior & Training: He knows basic commands (sit, lie down, paw, and place) and has had formal training in the past. He can play rough and does jump, so he would do best with someone experienced with larger, strong dogs. Other Pets: Good with people. He has been living with a smaller dog all his life. He will need proper introductions with other dogs, as he has mostly been kept separate from our smaller dog. He would likely do best with dogs his size. Health Notes: He has skin allergies and food allergies (currently managed on a hydrolyzed protein diet, which he does well on). We will provide his most recent comprehensive vet records. What Comes With Him: XL crate, e-collar, waterproof bedding (2), foam bed refill, and all of his supplies.
