About Sergio

Sergio a 1.5 year old Cane Corso mix. He requires a lifestyle dedicated to structure, training and physical/ mental fulfillment. He is food and toy motivated and enjoys receiving high praise for doing well. He loves to play ball and tug and would be a great dog for detection work. I recently had him assessed for his ability to be a working dog, he scored well. I can provide his assessment summary if interested. He needs an experienced and confident handler, and someone who will place firm and consistent boundaries. He can be challenging to handle over leash frustration when around dogs he is unsure of by displaying mouthiness and jumping. I have been working with a professional trainer the past year and he has made tremendous progress. He will need an adopter committed to continuing his training. He is crate and house trained.
