About Luna

Luna is a beautiful Mini Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix who is smart, loyal, energetic, and loves being part of the family. She has all the classic herding-dog traits-she's intelligent, alert, athletic, and bonds closely with her people. She would do best with an experienced, active owner who understands Aussies or other herding breeds and can give her plenty of exercise, structure, and mental stimulation. Luna can be sensitive when she is frightened or overwhelmed, so a calm, confident home that understands dog body language would be ideal. We love Luna and our goal is to find her the right home where she can thrive. Because she is athletic and capable of clearing a tall wall when frightened, she needs a very secure yard and an owner who will take appropriate precautions outdoors. We believe she has a lot to offer the right person or family and want to make sure her next home is a great long-term fit.
