'If you're looking for a loyal best friend, I've already been practicing for the job.' Hi, I'm Canella! I'm a 1-year-old Husky/Heeler mix, and through no fault of my own, I ended up at the shelter when my family's life circumstances changed and they could no longer keep me. The good news? They taught me a lot before I got here! I'm potty trained and crate trained, and I'm said to do well with kids as young as 8 months old, other dogs, and even cats. That's a pretty impressive resume if you ask me. I'm still young, so I have plenty of energy for adventures, walks, hikes, and playtime. After all, Huskies and Heelers aren't exactly known for being couch potatoes! One thing my future family should know is that I can struggle with separation anxiety. I love my people-a lot. Being left alone can be hard for me, so I'll do best with a family that understands that adjustment takes time and is willing to help me build confidence. What I really want is a family that won't just give me a house... I want a family that will make me part of their life. A family that wants a loyal companion, an adventure buddy, and a dog who will love them with her whole heart.
