About Max

Meet Max, an 8-year, 8-month-old Beagle mix who weighs 24 pounds and is ready to find a family of his own. Max came into rescue with his mom after they were surrendered to the Cedar Rapids shelter. Despite the changes in his life, Max has remained a happy, social guy who is always glad to see his people and loves being part of the action. Max does well with other dogs and would be happy sharing his home with a canine companion. His favorite place is wherever his humans are. Whether you're relaxing at home, spending time outside, or just going about your day, Max would much rather be right there with you. At 8 years old, Max has left the puppy stage behind, but he has plenty of love and personality to share. He's looking for a family who will appreciate a sweet, social companion and give him the loving home he deserves. If you're looking for a happy boy with a big heart and a serious appreciation for people, Max would love to meet you!
