The story of DAKOTA RAIN began eight months ago in early January when she was discovered on the side of a freezing rural Texas road, along with her six newborn siblings nursing in a pile underneath their mom, where the whole family had been cruelly abandoned. Luckily, the leader of a nearby No Kill sanctuary just happened to be driving by, and the momma and all her puppies were rescued. Tragically, the brave mom died the very next day, and their now grieving rescuer had to bottle feed the little ones - whose eyes not yet opened - for the next month, but DAKOTA RAIN struggled, so she had to be syringe-fed for weeks. DAKOTA RAIN and all her siblings not only survived but today they are thriving, and DAKOTA RAIN is a happy, athletic young pup ready for a loving forever home. DAKOTA RAIN loves absolutely everyone she meets - kids, other dogs, cats, and even chickens and ducks! She's also spayed, up-to-date on all shots and in perfect puppy health. DAKOTA RAIN's adoption fee includes transportation to any loving home in the northeast. For more pictures and videos, or to adopt sweet DAKOTA RAIN, please call Andrew anytime at (646) 387-9868.
