About Mochi

Hi, I'm Mochi & I'm looking for my forever family! I was recently surrendered along with 15 other dogs when our previous owners became overwhelmed. None of us had been spayed or neutered, and we ended up at the shelter before the wonderful team at PLAY! K9 Rescue stepped in to give us a second chance. I'm a sweet little guy who likes a gentle owner and to lie next to you while we're sitting. My favorite place to be is curled up next to you. I'm a little shy at first but I've been through a lot and warm up fast with calmness and patience. If you're looking for a devoted companion who wants to be your shadow, I might be the perfect match! I get along well with other female dogs or male dogs that are not similar to my size, cats, and kids, making me a great addition to many different types of families. I'm still learning my indoor potty manners, but I'm doing well with crate training and keep my crate nice and clean. The fee also covers all vet bills during this time to ensure his/her health is improved or maintained and provides you with assurance that this dog has been well cared for while in our possession and evaluated to meet your home's needs. Included in this fee is also life- long group training support provided by PLAY! K9 Academy located in Bradenton, FL as well as Life time microchip registration. When you adopt from a local shelter, you may not receive any medical history for this dog nor will you receive any behavioral history. We hope you understand that the minimal adoption fee we are asking is to continue our mission to rescue unwanted herding and working breeds from shelters/owners and get them adopted to their forever home.
