About Apollo

Meet Apollo, a 1yro Belgian Malinois. Apollo is an incredibly resilient boy and deserves to meet his forever family! First surrendered to the animal shelter emaciated and bound for euthanasia, then in a boarding kennel, and now with his foster parents, Apollo has beat all odds. Despite his past, Apollo is a LOVER. He is a very friendly dog and does well meeting strangers and plays well with dogs. It is apparent that Apollo has not had much training in the past and will need a dedicated owner to practice obedience training with him. He is currently in training with his foster parents and is making HUGE strides. He is very eager to please his humans. Apollo walks well on leash and is potty trained. He is still working on crate training and manners at home. The adoption fee for this pet covers the cost of care which may have been for several weeks or several months depending on the health and other needs. The fee also covers all vet bills during this time to ensure his/her health is improved or maintained and provides you with assurance that this dog has been well cared for while in our possession and evaluated to meet your home's needs. Included in this fee is also life- long training support provided by PLAY! K9 Academy located in Parrish, FL as well as Life time microchip registration. When you adopt from a local shelter, you may not receive any medical history for this dog nor will you receive any behavioral history. We hope you understand that the minimal adoption fee we are asking is to continue our mission to rescue unwanted herding and working breeds from shelters/owners and get them adopted to their forever home. This adoption requires a $150 refundable neuter deposit to be reimbursed after an age-appropriate alteration around 18 months old.
