About Phoenix

Phoenix aka Pheeney aka Nix, is a sweet boy who takes a little bit of time to open up but once he does is the sweetest boy. He LOVES other dogs male and female and would do best in a home with another confident dog. He tested well with children but can jump when excited as he's still a puppy this is something he is working on. Phoenix walks well on a leash with minimal issues. We are still working on basic obedience (sit, stay, and place) but he is trying. He loves playing in the kiddie pools and has done some mild scent work on property finding deer sheds without formal training just by watching and learning from another dog in the home. He loves to run and play but is perfectly content to just lay on your lap all day as well! He is house trained for the most part with supervision and fully kennel trained. The fee also covers all vet bills during this time to ensure his/her health is improved or maintained and provides you with assurance that this dog has been well cared for while in our possession and evaluated to meet your home's needs. Included in this fee is also life- long group training support provided by PLAY! K9 Academy located in Bradenton, FL as well as Life time microchip registration. When you adopt from a local shelter, you may not receive any medical history for this dog nor will you receive any behavioral history. We hope you understand that the minimal adoption fee we are asking is to continue our mission to rescue unwanted herding and working breeds from shelters/owners and get them adopted to their forever home.
