About Everest

Meet Everest Everest is a big hearted 90 pound 8 year old sweet heart with an easy going, low-to-moderate energy personality. He loves walks and hikes and would happily join you on an adventure, but he's equally happy being your perfect work from home companion, relaxing nearby while you work. Everest is a social guy who loves having a companion. He gets along wonderfully with dogs and cats and is also very good with children. He attends doggie daycare a couple of times a week and consistently receives nothing but great reports! Daycare is definitely his favorite time of the week, and we hope his forever family will consider letting him continue going. It's something he absolutely loves. He is also an experienced traveler. Everest has several long road trips under his belt and is a fantastic travel companion. Whether you're heading out on an adventure or enjoying a quiet day at home, he's happiest when he gets to be part of the family. Everest is a very food motivated, so you probably don't want to leave your dinner unattended around this handsome guy! He is not aggressive at all; he just really really loves food and would be happy to help you clean your plate if given the opportunity. He loves being outside, but what he really wants is to be outside with you. He's not looking to spend his days alone in the yard. Everest wants to be where his people are and be included in whatever you're doing. At 90 pounds, Everest does have some arthritis in his hips, but he is otherwise healthy. His gentle nature and moderate activity level make him a wonderful companion for someone who wants a dog who can enjoy walks and adventures but also knows how to relax. Everest would be wonderful as an only dog or as part of a multi-pet family. He truly just wants to be loved, included, and by your side. If you are looking for a loyal, loving, family friendly companion who is great with dogs, cats, children and people, loves adventures but is perfectly happy relaxing at home Everest might be your guy.
