Rescue transfer only due to behavior. Roscoe is a very scared senior chi looking for a chance at happiness. I pulled him several months ago from a shelter. He was unable to be handled, except by ONE person at the shelter. Once he was in my home to be fostered, I tried to let him decompress but after 8 months, I still cannot touch him. He tries to bite if touched. He is also very food aggressive with the other small dogs. I can only imagine his potential if he was in a home with no other dogs. Roscoe is fully vetted and desperately needs a patient home/rescue/behaviorist to give him a chance at living out his retirement. To be clear, I cannot even put a leash on him without using bite gloves. He probably should be euthanized but I just don't have it in me to end his life. I will be visiting my kids out of state (for the first time in 7 years) in a few weeks and there's no way a sitter could handle him. I will have to make a tough choice before I leave. He comes with a one thousand dollar donation to the rescue or trainer/behaviorist willing to work with him. Please reach out with questions. 9 yrs old, 9 lbs. Neutered, chipped, current on vaccines. Thank you
