Kardi has already lost the only home she knew, spent months without a family, and now she desperately needs a foster to take over when her temporary foster ends. We cannot let this girl down again saved right before she was schedule to be euthanized because of lack of space at the shelter . Kardi is a 7-year-old, 73-lb sweetheart who has made a huge impression on the volunteers who know her. In the stressful shelter environment, volunteers described spending time with Kardi as a source of calm and comfort. She is affectionate, playful and social once she feels safe. Knows multiple cues Playful, affectionate and loving Friendly toward other dogs Needs slow introductions and time to feel safe No cats or small animals No children under 13 She can be fearful of tall men, so she needs someone patient who will allow her to acclimate at her own pace. Kardi isn't asking for perfection. She is asking for someone to give her a safe place to land and enough time to realize she isn't going to be abandoned again. A temporary foster stepped up and gave her a lifeline, but that placement is only for two weeks and only have now 5 more dats left . We urgently need someone to take over so Kardi remains safe.
