About VITO

Meet Vito- an affectionate gentle boy - approximately 3-4 yrs- Vito's weight is 45 lbs., he is up to date with vaccinations, is neutered and microchipped (Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella). Color is dark brown ADR.org rescued this wonderful creature last minute from the CA Riverside shelter 'death row' where he was on listed for euthanization due to shyness, and space. Trainer assessment (while he was boarded before coming to WA: Initially shy and cautious around new people but warms up when he observes positive interactions and can set the pace I, owner of ADR.org thoroughly enjoy Vito's presence and clearly can tell that his lovely personality shines through. ADR.org would like to see him in a home with Chow-savvy adults. Not a high energy household with nobody dedicating a lot of time to him. He so longs to have 'his human' around, interacting with the respective person(s). He loves his walks, or a backyard (fully and solidly FENCED!) but still YOU will be the most important being in his life. While he is good with respectful dogs, dog parks are not for him. He could benefit of another dog in the household if he clicks with him/her. On Orcas Island where ADR.org is located he lives with the founder, her own dogs and other rescue chows.
