About Buster

Meet Buster - A Gentle Soul Who Just Wants to Be Near You. There is something especially endearing about Buster. He isn't the dog bouncing around trying to get everyone's attention. He's a calm, gentle fellow who quietly connects with the person he's with. Buster is estimated to be 6-10 years old and weighs 37 pounds. He walks nicely on leash, pays attention to his person and enjoys interacting without being demanding. And he definitely appreciates a good treat! He takes them very gently, with the same sweet manners he seems to bring to everything else. He has also been non-reactive when around nearby dogs, calmly going about his business. You may notice that Buster is missing quite a bit of hair. He arrived at the shelter with a significant skin condition. He has received treatment and his skin is already improving. Right now, his appearance simply doesn't show you what a handsome little guy he is becoming. What it does show you are those enormous brown eyes and a face that's pretty difficult to resist. Buster may need a little more TLC as his skin continues to recover, but in return you'll get a sweet, attentive gentleman who seems happiest simply spending time with his people.
