About Bolt

SENIOR ALERT!!!!! You would NEVER guess that Bolt is 9 years old. Frankly, his joints are completely in denial. This boy hops into high-clearance Jeeps like a puppy on espresso, with absolutely zero signs of arthritis! He is on the larger side with a nicely docked tail. Here is the lowdown on San Diego's finest bilingual boy: The Lizard Ninja: Bolt is an avid hunter. Chipmunks, lizards, squirrels, and bunnies? BEWARE. He spends his outdoor time searching for lizards like it's his full-time job. But what else is a lonely boy to do?? Hablas Espanol?: Our volunteer thought Bolt didn't know basic commands... until she realized he speaks Spanish and English!! Buen chico! King of the Castle: Our volunteer called him 'the calmest Weimaraner I've ever met.' He is a perfect gentleman on the leash (after initial excitement pull), loves kids, gets along great with other dogs, and prefers couch-time over dirt-time. He will, however, guard his backyard like a tiny medieval king if you leave him home alone. The Paw Tap: When Bolt wants affection, he gently taps your arm with his paw.
