LOCAL ADOPTION ONLY - Within a one hour drive to Pensacola, FL Meet MAC, MARLEY, and MACHO! These gorgeous puppies came to us when they were only a couple of days old. Their mom, Magnolia, who we believe is a Dachshund mix, was a stray who had given birth underneath a shed. A kind lady brought them to us so they could all have a better life. They were born on June 21st and will be able to go home on August 25th. MAC is a gorgeous long-haired black pup, and his coat feels like velvet. He is bouncy and playful and loves being wherever his people are-which usually means right around your feet! And consider this your warning: SHOELACES BEWARE! Mac believes they are a delicacy. MARLEY is a sweet little girl with a beautiful medium-length coat. She's an absolute love bug, but don't let that sweetness fool you-she has every bit as much puppy energy as her brothers! She's playful, curious, busy, and always looking for her next adventure. MACHO looks the most like his mama, Magnolia, and he may just be the biggest cuddle bug of the bunch. He loves being held and cuddled and is incredibly sweet and affectionate. He gets more of his fair share of the attention due to his loving personality. These babies are typical puppies...busy, playful, curious, mischievous, and constantly on the move. They play HARD and then pile into their dog beds together to cuddle and sleep. They figured out very early how to climb out of their puppy pen, so they've enjoyed having the run of the living room. They're confident little explorers who want to be involved in everything. Because they love playing so much, we believe each puppy would be happiest in a home with a young, playful dog who wants a little buddy. Future families need to understand something very important: These are BABIES. They are underfoot. They chew things they shouldn't. They get into things. And they are nowhere near housebroken yet. Anyone adopting one of these babies needs to be prepared for all the trials, tribulations, laughter, frustration, training, and absolute joy that come with raising a puppy. By the time they can go home, the puppies will have had two of their three puppy shots, and will be microchipped with a lifetime registration. The third puppy shot will be given approximately 3 weeks after their go home date and is covered by the rescue. PLEASE NOTE: These puppies are NO PAWS ON THE GROUND until approximately 12 weeks of age, after they have received their final Parvo vaccination. Until then, their new families will need to be especially careful about where they are taken and avoid taking them outside. We highly recommend investing in a puppy pen to keep them safe inside when they cannot be supervised. Their spay/neuters will be scheduled at one of our vets when they are old enough and those procedures also covered by the rescue. Because they have pending vet appointments, the puppies are local adoption only which is within a one hour drive to Pensacola. *To meet or adopt, you must first submit an adoption application for review.
