About Otis

Hi, I'm Otis! I'm about a year and a half old, around 40 pounds, and still getting used to this whole new chapter of my life. I can be a little timid at first, but underneath that shyness is a really sweet boy. I get along well with other dogs, and having friendly canine companions around may even help me continue building my confidence. I'm also working on the basics right now. I'm learning commands and making progress every day. I'm a little scared of the leash, so my rescue mom is working with on me on this as much as possible right now. We haven't tested me with cats yet, but we're definitely open to doing that for the right potential adopter. I may not be the dog who runs up to greet you the second we meet, but give me a little time, patience, and kindness, and I think you'll see just how sweet I really am. I'm still learning, still growing, and looking for a family who will give me the chance to keep coming out of my shell.
