About Heidi

Heidi is an adorable terrier mix found as a stray and never claimed. She is almost 4 months old, about 6.5lbs and a puppy! She is busy playing, sniffing, chewing and exploring. Heidi is sleeping through the night in her crate and doing wonderfully with potty training. She loves dogs and kids, no idea about cats but she is young and smart so would learn quickly. Leash training will begin soon but she is high energy and very fast so a secure fenced yard is a must. Heidi does enjoy a cuddle but again, she is a busy puppy. At home she will stay close and does a good job of keeping herself entertained with her toys. She could be an only dog but then would need continued and consistent socialization since terriers can have strong willed personalities, prey drive and potential reactivity. Heidi is up to date on vaccines, microchipped and dewormed. The spay/neuter procedure will be covered by the rescue at 6 months of age when completed through one of our approved veterinary clinics.
