Rescued from a local shelter alongside her two siblings, Tuxie faced significant health challenges. While one sibling passed away at the shelter and the other shortly after arriving in our care, Tuxie proved to be a true survivor at just weeks old. Initially, she had a severe eye infection that raised concerns about her sight. Although there's a very slight film on her one eye, Tuxie has shown she can see well and has no issues-just another testament to her resilience! This playful girl is full of energy and loves her toys. She's a bit of a drama queen; if her playmates get too rough, she might scream as if she's being mistreated. Because of this, Tuxie would do best in a home with children aged ten and up. When she's not busy zooming around or chasing laser pointers, Tuxie adores snuggling up next to you-of course, it has to be her idea! One minute she's full of energy, and the next, she's ready to curl up for a cozy nap. Tuxie is currently enjoying the company of her friend Sasparilla. While they make a fantastic duo, they can be adopted separately. However, if you're looking to bring home two playful pals, Tuxie and Sasparilla are already pals and would love to keep the fun going together! As for her new home, Tuxie would prefer a calm environment without little kids and big dogs. Respectful small dogs that can pretty much ignore her would be okay, but she needs a space where she can feel safe and secure. Tuxie is petite in size, which adds to her adorable charm, but don't let her small frame fool you-her personality is anything but small! With a sprinkle of sass, a dash of drama and a heart of gold, Tuxie is ready to bring joy to her forever home.
