Elliot is a gorgeous five-week-old, tri-color Abyssinian male guinea pig looking for a loving guardian along with his dad Gillingsby, a one-year-old male Abyssinian guinea pig. They are currently eating unlimited timothy, alfalfa, orchard and botanical hays, fresh salad, fruits, veggies and guinea pig pellets. Guinea pigs need daily vitamin C which they get from fresh pellets, a 1-inch squares of red pepper, a vitamin C cookie, and some of their dark leafy greens. These sweet boys deserve a guinea pig-loving home with people who will handle them daily, keep them well-fed, nails trimmed, and their habitat nice and clean. If you're interested in meeting and possibly adopting Gillingsby and his son Elliot, please fill out an adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/guinea-pig-adoption-application/ and follow up to make an appointment by contacting [email protected] Their adoption fee of $50 benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue Group. For an additional $75, you can purchase their guinea pig habitat, and all the supplies you'll need to care for them. They are being fostered in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood.
