I took in Sheba about 3 years ago. She gets along well with my schnauzer mix, but there's been trouble with any other small dogs. In addition, I have a very small piece of property with two structures on it with no room for her to run. I'm unable to walk her because we've been attacked by a stray in the past. This dog needs a place with room to roam. She's miserable in the heat, so someplace with a doggie door available for her to come inside is a must. She is house trained. I love her dearly, but this situation is not good for her. She's very affectionate, small for a Husky, and is currently growing out from a shave due to the heat. She gets brushed every day, sometimes multiple times a day, which results in no matting of undercoat. It's 96 degrees in the shade here. She can only handle a short amount of time outside. A home check with references, both personal and veterinarian, will also be required. I'm not going to just let her go to anyone.
