About Charlie

Charlie is the best and most loving dog, and we are truly hearbroken to have to rehome him. Unfortunately, he just does not get along with our 16-year-old cat. Charlie is incredibly cuddly, and has turned into a very obedient dog after training with Doron Zohar of ADZ K9S-he has their training certificate, which comes with a warranty to provide future support. He sits, goes to place, and goes on a down stay for as long as you need him to. He does not try to steal human food. Charlie is leash reactive, so he will likely react strongly when seeing another dog. With work, we are confident he'll get over this (we have seen a lot of progress already). With that said, he is a pretty lazy dog and does not need much exercise, so he does well when he is just let out in the backyard and is allowed to explore (as in, he doesn't really need walks). Charlie has traditionally been wary of children, but has behaved perfectly with our newborn and we are confident he'd do great with her as a toddler. Please let us know if you're interested in meeting Charlie. We will do anything in our power to find him a good home. He deserves the best.
