7 year old German Shorthair Pointer male looking for a home. I'm told he was used for pheasant hunting at one point but not sure how long ago that was. Not sure about how he is with cats. Great with other dogs (male and female, large and small.) Has been raised with kids but may knock over a small child on accident. He rides great in the car, loves to swim, walks ok on a leash and has been an indoor/outdoor dog. Crate trained - Is crated or kenneled when unsupervised. Needs vetted. Extremely sweet and loving & is the type of dog who will even just lean on you for attention. We recently took him in from a family who couldn't keep him due to having to move. Help us find this sweet guy a place where he can be part of someone's family and be loved. Serious inquiries only. We would prefer having a rescue take him on but will consider the right forever home.
